Jaguar Land Rover launches 'Tracking the Tiger', a book by Bob Rupani

Mumbai, 18 November 2014: Last year, Jaguar Land Rover launched a new Global CSR program wherein it was underlined that "valuing and protecting the environment and communities in which we operate, is critical to building a sustainable business and ensuring a successful future". The brand  has a continuing association with Born Free Foundation, which was first forged in 2002, to further its Global Conservation Partnership.

Land Rover today launched a new book in Mumbai, that tracks the tiger through India’s Tiger Reserves. The book has been written and crafted in collaboration with auto journalist and wildlife lover Bob Rupani and the Born Free Foundation. It is a celebration of the beauty of India’s varied wildlife and showcases in real time a 50-day journey around the country’s best tiger reserves.

Narayan Rupani, better known as Bob, is one of India’s most senior and respected auto journalists. Over the years he has been the executive editor of magazines such as Car & Bike International, Auto Motor & Sport (India), BBC Top Gear (India) and Auto India. He also writes a monthly column for evo India magazine. He has also authored the critically acclaimed bestsellers ‘Driving Holidays in India’ and its next edition ‘More Driving Holidays in India and India’s 100 Best Destinations.’

Bob’s first-hand account of the tiger reserves and the wildlife that resides in them is supported with real-time photography by renowned wildlife and nature photographer, Dhrittiman Mukherjee.
