London, 15 April 2016: Announcing Mahindra's entry into the UK market, Chairman Anand Mahindra launched the e2o electric car at London’s Design Museum. Designed for easy urban commuting, the Mahindra e2o will be available in two trim levels - the entry-level e2o City priced at £12,995, and the TechX version priced at £15,995. The e2o is an ideal urban runabout that combines advancements in automotive, electronics and information technology paired with minimal running costs and zero tailpipe emissions. There is also a Remote Charging Scheduler™that allows users to schedule charging of their e2o at a time when electricity costs are at their cheapest rate. The Revive™remote emergency charging feature allows the driver up to 8 miles worth of range if the battery is depleted, and on-board telematics include sensors that remotely monitor vehicle health and send customer alerts. The Blaupunkt touchscreen infotainment centre in the top end trim has satellite navigation with ‘range remaining’ maps featuring charge point locations.
