Made-in-India Jeep Compass to be seen on the streets of Australia and Japan soon

Mumbai, 25 October 2017: The Made-in-India Jeep Compass is all set to take on the world, with the first batch of 600 vehicles being shipped out from the Bombay Port Trust facility to Australia and Japan. The right-hand drive units are produced at the Ranjangaon factory with over 65% localisation.

The Jeep Compass is available in 3 trims and 10 variant options, and comes with a 3 year/ 100,000 kms manufacturer warranty, and a service cycle of 15,000 kms/ 1 year across the range.

The SUV has already gained a fair amount of momentum in the Indian market with its aggressive pricing, and the company is now gearing up to meet the growing local demand along with its export commitments. Year 2018 should be a defining period for FCA in India with production at full pace, an expanding distribution network and delivery of target domestic and export numbers.

Since July 2017, the company has already added five more sales and service outlets, taking the network reach up to 55, which would go up further to close at 60 by the end of the year.
