New Audi TT Coupé launched in India at INR 60.34 lacs

New Delhi, 23 April 2015: Last week, Audi launched the new Audi TT Coupé in India. The iconic 2+2-seat sports coupé has been re-engineered for more power and blends dynamic aesthetics with innovative technology and inspired performance. Ex-showroom prices in Delhi and Mumbai start at INR 60.34 lacs.

The vehicle comes with futuristic interiors - brushed aluminum inlays, finely stitched leather sports seats and a virtual cockpit that embodies brilliant graphics, 3D impression and highly detailed effects with MMI® navigation plus, bringing alive the sportiness and sophistication of the brand. The vehicle has a composite construction body of steel and aluminum, with a 305 ltr. luggage compartment, 18-inch lightweight wheels, Audi Drive Select dynamic driving system and ESC stabilization control.

Designed to appeal to the young and wealthy in India, it has a flat bottomed multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, and is powered by a 2.0 TFSI® engine generating 230 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. The engine is mated to a six-speed S tronic® transmission and has quattro® permanent all-wheel drive.

The first-generation Audi TT was unveiled at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show and launched in 1998. It has since become a design revolution of sorts, with it’s strictly geometrical, formally coherent design language. With the Audi Space Frame® technology, the second generation Audi TT became known as an award-winning, agile and responsive drive and made a name for itself as a design icon similar to its predecessor.
